the right place for you. Near Summer is a modern, beachfront, home 
custom-designed by a California Architect and is located on the East 
Cape at the tip of the Baja peninsula. 
Feet away from the ocean, on the Sea of Cortez, with 180 degree 
views of the ocean, mountains, and Cabo San Lucas, this is one of 
the newest homes in the private development of Los Zacatitos, just 8 
miles from San Jose del Cabo.

Open the oversized mahogany front door and peer through the house to 
a wall of windows overlooking the ocean. The ocean air fills your 
senses, a gentle breeze blows through the house, sunlight reflects 
off the walls, and the air is warm. This understated modern home 
has 3 full-sized bedrooms each with its own queen-sized bed and 
private bath. Enjoy the fully equiped modern kitchen complete with 
all the neessary amenities. Relax and enjoy yourselves - we're happy 
to have you as our guests.

The accommodations at Near Summer are appointed with all of the 
necessities to make your stay in Mexico a memorable one. The Master 
Bedroom suite is on the lower level with views of the ocean and 
adjacent mountains and Punta Gorda.

The Master Suite also has a private entrance, master bath with an 
oversized shower, vanity with dual sinks integrally carved in stone 
and tiled throughout with local Mexican stone. The two 
guest bedrooms both have queen sized beds and their own private 
bathroom on the main level. There are speakers in the main living 
area, the back deck and upper deck for listening to music in 
addition to a big screen TV and DVD/CD player.

You will find the kitchen to have everything you need for your 
cooking and eating experience while at Near Summer. Modern amenities 
including a Wolf Range, granite countertops, dishwasher, garbage 
disposal, microwave, stainless steel refrigerator, coffeemaker, 
blender, rice cooker, cutlery, dishes and silverware are all 
provided for your use.

We also have a washer and dryer and air conditioning in the 
bedrooms. The custom-made windows in the house are designed to tilt 
and turn. This provides more ventilation throughout in addition to 
added security.

You can buy bottled water anywhere in the small tiendas (stores), 
supermercados, or most stores selling beer or groceries. We truck in 
fresh water for usage at the house and it is stored in the “pila” in 
the utility room in the entry courtyard. This water is run through a 
filtration system prior to flowing out of the faucets and can be 
used for drinking, making juice, coffee, ice, and cooking.

If you need to supplement your sunbathing and relaxing with other 
activities, you have come to the right place! There is so much to do 
in and around San Jose del Cabo (8 miles away from Near 
Summer), including fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, sea-kayaking, 
surfing and golf.

There are many planned excursion activities through Godrdo Banks and 
Eco Tours within a short drive of the house, including desert 
tours/hiking and even whale watching! Night life is exceptional with 
many spots for live music and dancing. Also known as Cabo 
San “Loco”, San Jose del Cabo is known for its fine dining, 
nightclubs, and other more civilized entertainment.
