Cancion Del Mar or Song of the Sea describes what you hear on the hill overlooking the ocean and 
Sayulita. It is the best of what Sayulita has to offer! The unbelievable vista as you enter the home 
through antique iron gates will take your breath and your problems away!  The home offers luxury and 
comfort, as well as color and beauty! Below is a description of the property. For an even more

Cancion del Mar:
As you enter the brick arched entrance, you are met with an expansive view of the ocean thru the 
Palapa area. You will see the negative edge pool that appears to drop off into the ocean. The pool, 
while small, is fully circulated and filtered.

The Palapa area is an open room which is the entertaining center of the home. It has a large built 
in couch which seats 9 to 12 and sleeps 2 if you wish. Dine while watching and hearing the ocean at 
the round carved wood table which seats 10.

The Palapa has plenty of space to sunbathe, dance, dine, visit, play games, or whatever you desire. 
The 25 foot Palapa with 5 carved wood ceiling fans lends itself to many moods.

As you enter the master bedroom suite, you will see a "pebble sculpture" created a local artisan, 
over the built in king sized bed and bedside tables. This room has a ceiling fan, air conditioning, 
and 16 feet of doors that open to make the room expansive and part of the Palapa. The attached 
bathroom has handmade Mexican tile and a glass block shower, as well as double sinks with marble 
countertops, a separate commode room, a walk in closet and a safe for your valuables.

On the other side of the arched entry, a colorful hall leads you to another bright bedroom with a 
queen size built-in bed and bedside tables. The room is air-conditioned, has a ceiling fan, and 
features local art and a space to read. The attached vibrant bath has handmade Mexican tile and a 
glass block shower.

Down the hall, the bright, cheerful kitchen has handmade colorful tile, and a beautiful island 
counter. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee pot, dishes, and 
cooking utensils. The kitchen can be opened up to the ocean breezes or closed-off and air 
conditioned. There is a 1/2 bath next to the kitchen.

One of the other bedrooms has a king size bed and a loft with a double bed. This is the perfect room 
for a family of four or two couples.

Cancion del Mar sleeps a total of 12 people in beds. Two additional people can sleep on the sofas if 
desired.

La Casita:

A winding, landscaped staircase leads you downstairs to another property, La Casita. This smaller 
villa can be rented along with Cancion del Mar or by itself. There is a fabulous patio with an 
astounding view of the ocean. A great place to sunbathe, take a dip in the private pool and enjoy 
the sights and sounds. The covered outdoor kitchenette makes life a little easier with a 
refrigerator, microwave, and sink.

There are two bedrooms in La Casita. The fanciful, colorful bedroom on the right has a built-in king 
sized bed and bedside tables, as well as a closet with shelves. The room has a 20 foot ceiling and a 
ceiling fan. It is air-conditioned. It can also be opened-up to the patio.

The other colorful, versatile room,has a king sized bed with bedside tables. This room also has 20 
foot ceilings, a ceiling fan and air conditioning. It too, can be opened up to the patio. La Casita 
will sleep 4 people in beds. Two additional people can sleep on the sofas if desired.

Additional Information:

The Villas have a walkway with lighting and colorful custom locking gates at both the upper access 
and the lower access. It is probably not suitable for very small children because of the patio 
elevation and the open pool, therefore we ask that you do not bring children under the age of 5. 
Also, there is no smoking in the villas.

These homes are on a hill, away from the hustle and bustle and the dust of the village. You will 
most likely need to rent a car. You can walk up and down if you are athletic, but you may want the 
option of using a car, especially during summer, to insure your comfort and enjoyment.

well as activity and outdoor interests!

There is so much to do if you wish, such as hiking, biking, golf, fishing, horseback riding, 
shopping, restaurants, sightseeing, swimming, snorkeling/diving, boating, sailing, water-skiing, 
surfing, windsurfing, shelling, whale watching and birding. You will enjoy the incredible variety of 
birds as they fly through the jungle. Don't forget your binoculars!  Then again, if you want to do 
nothing more than lay in the sun by the pool, that's an option too!

Our staff can cook meals for you too! You can make these arrangements before you travel or when you 
get there.
