In the beautiful old-world fishing village of San Francisco, nicknamed San Pancho by the  
native citizens, Casa el Izote sits nestled up against the beautiful Arroyo el Izote. This  
small creek runs down from the lush Sierra Madre rainforests and flows gently into the  
blue pacific just 300 meters away.  
 
Casa El Izote is a two-bedroom private home surrounded by tropical palms, mango,  
avocado and Izote trees, where the indoor and outdoor living interface for an  
unforgettable and peaceful vacation experience.  
 
Our two story Southwestern style house, with a large garden terrace, is just a short stroll  
to the beautiful beach. Enjoy the tropical breezes from the terrace, frolic in the sand at  
the  
beach or surf the waves as you immerse yourself in the tranquil tropical setting.  
 
As you grab your surf equipment and head to the gorgeous San Pancho beach, you will  
experience the quaint charm of old Mexico, including excellent restaurants, interesting  
shops, small markets and native fisherman preparing for a day on the ocean.

Activities and Attractions

Visit the many art shops in town and eat at some exceptional world class  
restaurants, where you will hear live music many nights during the  
week. 
 
Fishing: Enjoy fishing trips along the coastline north of Puerto  
Vallarta. Catches include large Sailfish, Dorado (Mahi Mahi),  
Rooster Fish, Grouper, Red Snapper, and offshore Tuna & Marlin.  
 
Surfing: San Pancho beach and surrounding areas offer an array of  
surfing experiences. is an ideal location to find quality surfing instruction.  
Waves in San Pancho are best when the creek flows to the ocean during the wet season  
(June - October), although fun, rideable waves arrive year round.  
Nearby Punta de Mita and Sayulita receive great quality; however,  
more crowded waves year round. San Pancho surf shop can arrange boat trips  
to isolated world-class surf breaks up and down the coast (including  
Chacala & Punta de Mita).

Rates are per week, USD 
December-April:      $1095  
May & November:      $995  
June-October:        $895 
 
Please note: 25% holiday fee increase for the weeks of December 20th,08 - January 3rd,09  
 
When a reservation is made, we require a 50% deposit within five  
business days and the balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
