Vacation Rental Description

Maya Jardin is a luxury beachfront villa situated in peaceful Soliman Bay on the Caribbean.    A few  
steps to the beach and you swim or snorkel in the blue waters of the world's second largest  
barrier reef. The first level of Maya Jardin has four deluxe, air conditioned, ocean side bedrooms  
with king size beds and artistic French doors opening out onto the pool deck. All rooms on the lower  
level have private pool and beach access from each bedroom for secret midnight dips and stargazing.  
The pool area has four built-in stools that are perfect for lounging in the water. Sun worshipers  
will enjoy working on their tans from either the furnished pool deck or under a rustic palapa at the  
sandy beach, just a step off the deck. Enjoy your breakfast on the garden side at the outdoor  
restaurant next to the soothing Mayan pyramid fountain.  
 
Luxurious, stylish and romantic, the second and third floors of Maya Jardin offer even more  
amenities including an office, spectacular living area, hacienda-style bedroom with 2 queen beds  
stepping onto a 45ft. long terrace overlooking the water.  
 
Additional buildings in the compound include a large caretaker house, laundry facility, electrical  
room, additional outdoor bath with inside storage plus nine additional walk-in storage closets.  
Flat screen TV, hand-made hardwood furniture, dining table for eight, bar for eight, two queen beds  
in master bedroom, two convertible futons in loft. Huge terrace spanning 45 feet, modern kitchen  
with dishwasher, microwave, dinnerware service for 16. A sunset-facing terrace for evening  
cocktails, outdoor kitchen with large BBQ and 8 stool bar with seating for 16. WI-FI access in the  
upstairs area of the villa and outdoor dining area.

Activities and Attractions

Amazing Sights at Tulum and Sian Kaan Tulum, (about 8 miles from  
Maya Jardin) is the combination of a beach coastline, archaeological  
zone and shopping area. If you want a little taste of the Mayan  
history and a wonderful view, Tulum is your place. Shops line the  
main street with colorful restaurants and excellent Mexican food,  
Italian, and seafood. The Sian Kaan Biosphere Reserve has incredible  
beaches, pristine mangrove estuaries, and you can drive all the way  
to the little fishing village of Punta Allen  
 
Coba has fewer tourists and 2 new cenotes The ancient Mayan ruins  
and village of Coba are located about a 40 minute drive west of Maya  
Jardin. Coba was the capital of the largest Late Classic empire in  
the Northern Lowlands. Coba is a mammoth ruined city , with one of  
the tallest pyramids in Mexico. This archaeological site sits amid 5  
small, shallow lakes and is very impressive. Coba is known for its  
great length of occupation. The earliest stele dates to a.d. 623 and  
Coba was occupied until the late Postclassic times, around the 14th  
century. There are two unspoiled cenotes 5 miles away that have just  
been opened to the public. The water is pure and refreshing with  
stalactites and even a diving platform.  
 
Guest Book: Absolutely fantastic! We spent a week here with another  
couple, and loved the location, the privacy and the wonderful, quiet  
bay. Saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed great restaurants. Right on  
the beach---you can even lay in bed and read, while seeing and  
hearing the sea! Great hosts, beautiful accommodations and attention  
to detail! We hope to return often! ANNA COLARIC, SCOTTSDALE,
