Vacation Rental Description

Casa de los Amigos is a 3 bedroom private home located at the South  
End of the island,(NOT IN THE GLORIAS) We are Casa de los Amigos Punta Sur in the Garrafon area. 
In the evening you can enjoy beautiful sunsets from the roof top  
Jacuzzi. After the sun has set there is a magnificent view of the  
shore line lights of Cancun.There are always wonderful views from the Casa be it day or night. 
You can watch the boats go by and many boating activities that go on out in the water. Nothing but  
blue water for miles. 
 
The beach,snorkelling and swimming is just down the street.Garrafon  
Castille has showers,snorkel rentals cold drinks and food. It is not large as  
in town it is much more private. A well kept secret. Clean and  
pleasant a two minute walk if you walk slow 
 
Casa de los Amigos is only a couple of years old. It is an extrememly well built home with many  
amenities. Very well maintained at all times.

Vacation Rental Amenities

The villa has three floors with a spiral staircase in the middle.  
 
1 bedroom on main floor with queen bed and full bath.  
1 bedroom on second level, with king bed and full bath.  
1 bedroom second level with twin beds and full bath.  
There is a lovely terrace off the two bedrooms on the second floor.  
Great place to visit and enjoy the ocean view.  
Dining is a treat with one spacious indoor dining room and one  
outdoor terrace dining area, or enjoy your meals pool side.  
Kitchen is fully equipped with all the comforts of home including a  
dishwasher. Many serving dishes wine glasses ect.  
Electric stove & counter top elements, fridge, freezer & microwave,  
coffee maker, blender & fresh water cooler provided.  
Sky T.V. to keep you up to date on world events or for a wide  
selection of music. We hope to have Star Choice hooked up by the end of Nov. 2008 
CD, DVD and Ipod player makes it easy for entertaining yourself. 
WIRELESS INTERNET 
Also includes washer & dryer. All linens and bathroom towels are  
provided. PLEASE bring your own beach towels!  
The main floor has just had a brand new paint job to add some spice  
and color the second floor will have the same done by the end of Nov.2008

Activities and Attractions

Isla Mujérés has a vast array of activities to keep the energetic  
visitor amused. 
Walking,biking,swimming or just hanging on the beach. There is know  
shortage of things to fill your day. Explore and enjoy. 
  
Also within walking distance of the Casa de los Amigos are ample 
snorkeling and beach club facilities at Garrafon De Castille and  
Playa Indios as well as the multiple activities and scenic splendor  
of Garrafon Park. There is a great area for children to play in the  
water at Garrafon De Castille. It is only steps from the Casa. 
 
Diving opportunities are multiple on Isla Mujérés with courses  
available for beginners and advanced divers. Popular dives include  
Manchones Reef and Banderas Reef as well as the legendary Cave of  
the Sleeping Sharks. 
 
Snorkeling tours are readily available to the Cross of the Bay and  
the lighthouse areas and generally include all kit hire, lunch on a  
beach, life jackets and two or three snorkel stops. 
 
We thoroughly recommend a trip to the nature reserve at Isla Contoy  
which is a 30 kilometers north of Isla Mujérés. This day long trip  
includes snorkeling stops on route, free time on this wonderful  
island and bbq lunch on the beach. Isla Contoy only permits a  
maximum of 200 visitors per day and it is definitely worth the trip.  
 
At certain times during the summer months the Whale Sharks gather  
just off Contoy and Isla's 'Captains' offer tours out to view these  
amazing huge and gentle creatures. If you have the opportunity to  
take this tour do it, it's a once in a lifetime experience. 
 
Carnival is the most energetic time of Isla's year. Like a mini  
Mardi Gras the island lets it hair down and parties until dawn.  
There are parades, open air singing and dancing in the Zocala and a  
general atmosphere of whooping it up before Lent! The locals will be  
happy to have you join their celebrations and everyone is welcomed  
to dance in the street! 
 
For those wanting to travel further to sample the Mayan Ruins of  
Tulum and Chitzen Icha or visit the parks of Xel Ha and Xcaret there  
are several travel agencies on Isla that can arrange tours.

May 1st-July 1st 2008      $1850/week 
July 1st-Dec. 12th   $1500/week 
Dec 13th 2008 to Jan. 3rd 2009  $2500/week 
Jan 4th -April 30th 2009 $1850.00/week     Clean out fee of $50.00  
May 1st- Dec 11th 2009  $1500.00/week 
 
All funds are in U.S. Dollars 
50% non refundable deposit upon booking. remainder due 2 weeks prior to reservaton date
