This Casita (small home) is a traditional and authentic Mexican 
Casita, complete with tile floors, built-in sofas, adobe plaster 
walls and all of the charm you visit Mexico to feel. It is located 
only 2 short blocks from the ocean, and is on a charming, tree-lined 
cobblestone street. Located only a short walk from the center of 
Bucerias, you'll be off the beaten path, but only a few minutes by 
taxi from the world class resturants and night life of Puerto 
Vallarta.

Bucerias is a Mexican village often described as “the Puerto 
Vallarta of 25 years ago.” 
 
It has a population of between 4,000 and 6,000 persons. The center 
of town features the ubiquitous Mexican zocolo (town square) 
complete with gazebo, a nearby church and numerous stores and 
markets. Modern motor vehicles share the road with horses and 
burros. In the early morning fishermen set sail from the central 
beach area.  

Bucerias has a selection of fine restaurants - ranging from fine 
dining to ultra-casual taco stands and loncherias. 

Bucerias, Mexican for “the place of divers,”  offers one of 
Mexico’s finest beaches. The flat, white-sand beach stretches for 
approximately seven miles.

Ambitious beach strollers can walk to Nuevo Vallarta to the south, 
and La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, a small town to the north.
