Casa Morada is a restored colonial townhouse with 18´ceilings, thick
stone walls, cool tile
floors, 9000 square ft of landscaped gardens with old fruit trees and
palms, and a plunge
pool with a turkish sofa and palapa.

The house is owned by a book publisher and an architect, who have
restored this as their
home.
The house has two-three bedrooms, two bathrooms, an air-conditioned
studio with oversized windows, a
terrace with arches,
garage for one car, and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a
separate room for another guest or house
helper with its own bathroom and air conditioning.

Centro Histórico
neighborhood, eighty yards from the beginning of Paseo de Montejo,
Mérida´s most
beautiful avenue. Santa Ana square has a lively market with food
stalls and street musicians.
