Cozy and fully furnished, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, functional 
kitchen and integrated dining and living room; sleeping up to 12 
people. Hammocks also provided with rent.

The house has only one floor for your convenience. There is a 
terrace at the front facing the ocean to watch breathtaking sunsets. 
Main Bedroom with ocean view and a/c on request. All 3 rooms fan-
ventilated.

Located just 30 miles -30-minute drive-from Merida (the Capital of 
the state of Yucatan with daily flights to and from Miami, Houston, 
Atlanta, Mexico City, etc. and 2 ½ hours drive from Cancun). More 
exactly the house is just 2 miles away from the peaceful beach town 
(and fishermen town) of Chicxulub. Chicxulub is also the area where 
a meteorite impacted earth 65 million years ago causing vast, global 
extinction of species, dinosaurs among them. It also created 
the “Cenotes”; unique natural wonders in the world.
Public transportation available every 20 minutes to and from 
Chicxulub, Progreso, and Telchac (important neighboring towns along 
the coastline)

Yearly average temperature in the area is 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32 
Celsius)

laundromats, handcrafts, cyber centers, post offices and seafood 
restaurants along the beach.

•Once here we organize your tour activities for free. Some of them 
are:
•Chichen-Itza: recently voted and named one of the new 7 wonders of 
the world is just an hour and 45 min. drive and sure worth it!. 
Uxmal (other impressive Mayan ceremonial center is about a 2 hour-
drive)  
•Bird-watching, sea swimming, beach combing, shell collecting right 
at the front door; there is a Flamingoes Observation Center 3 miles 
from the house 
•Marina Silcer is a beach club in Chicxulub where you can practice 
most water sports at really affordable prices: Water-skiing, kite-
surf, kayaking (both in the sea or in the lagoon, rent of wave 
runners & sea-bikes, etc. 
•Small but quite peaceful and beautiful Mayan ruins are at hand-
reach: X-Cambo (15 min. drive) and Dzibilchaltun (20 min. drive). 
•Merida with its entire splendor is where you fly to when coming to 
Chicxulub and is only 25 min. from the house. 
•Also in Merida: Movie theaters, 4 large malls, museums, countless 
shops and varied restaurants.
•Tee for Golf Course available although a bit expensive.
•Tennis lessons available with international tennis instructor. Also 
access to the Sports Club with world-class gym, Swimming pool and 
other sports (also in Merida.
•Deep sea fishing and Scuba diving can be arranged at really cheap 
prices with the people who know best: Fishermen at Chicxulub.
•Shallow-water Snorkeling
•“Cenotes” are underground rivers and wells that run across the 
Yucatan Peninsula and are unique in the world. The most famous of 
all is Cenote Sagrado (Sacred Well) in Chichen-Itza although there 
are about 2,300 to explore in he whole peninsula…some of them with 
fossils from 65 million years ago. We can take you to visit some of 
the most amazing. Also we can take you to Scuba dive some of them.
•Cave exploring and rappel have numerous options around the area.
•Cancun and The Maya Riviera are a 3 ½ hour-drive. Bus-Ticket 
prices: $40 US dollars both ways
