Beautiful, new private beachfront home in Playa Los Cocos, 140 
kilometres (86 miles) north of Puerto Vallarta. Air cond. Two 
bedrooms – one  king and one queen-sized bed – 2.5 baths. The master 
bedroom has a balcony overlooking the water. You are right on your 
own beach and swimming in the warm ocean waters, enjoying walks on 
the beach or red sunsets. There is also a small, private pool 
overlooking the 
ocean.
Restaurants and groceries, including a fine vegetable and seafood 
market, are nearby in San Blas or you can have Maria prepare your 
meals. 

Directions: MOST PEOPLE FLY INTO PUERTO VALLARTA AND RENT A CAR AT 
THE AIRPORT FOR THE TWO-HOUR TRIP NORTH. IT'S A GOOD ROAD ALL THE WAY.
From Puerto Vallarta drive north on Highway 200 about one hour to 
Las Varas. Turn left at the sign for San Blas. Entering Zacualpan, 
turn left just before the town plaza and continue toward San Blas. 
Follow signs toward San Blas until you come to Playa Los Cocos. 
After you pass Motel Casa Manana in Playa Los Cocos, our house is on 
the ocean side of the road about a quarter-mile further.

Playa Los Cocos is at the centre of an area that is being developed 
for eco-tourism. One of the best bird-watching areas in the Americas 
is at the Tovara River and mangrove lagoons (10K away), where boat 
tours are available. This is the mango capital of 
Mexico, but there are also papayas, bananas, avocado and pineapple. 
If you wish to kayak, fish or hike, there are many opportunities, 
including the beautiful El Cora waterfall 16k north of Playa Los 
Cocos. 
Other short day trips can be taken to the colonial city of Tepic 
(pop 300,000) for fine and inexpensive beadwork from Huichol 
artisans, or to Mexcaltitan, the original home of the Aztecs which 
is known as the “Venice of Mexico.”
There is also bus service available from Puerto Vallarta on the hour.

High season-$950 (U.S.) weekly from Nov. 1 through April 15
Low season -$650 (U.S.) weekly from April 16 through Oct.30.
One-half payable at time of reservation, the balance 30 days before 
occupancy.
