Vacation Rental Description

Welcome to our Mexican Paradise. We are located on the beach just a  
short walk to the quaint fishing village of Telchac Puerto on the  
Gulf of Mexico.Telchac has shops for groceries,  vegetables & fruit,  
seafood restaurants,a market,medical clinic, pay phones(to be used  
with phone cards), a tortilleria, a hardware store,internet cafe,  
taxis and good bus service.                                    
Telchac is 25 minutes from the Port city of Progreso,(population  
45,000)which has all the services of a large city, including ATM  
machines, grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, a boardwalk and a  
port that accommodates cruise ships.                               
The beautiful and historical city of Merida,(population 1  
million),capital of the Yucatan, is approximately 45 minutes away.  
Merida has culture, history, hospitals, markets, museums, libraries,  
and shopping (Costco, Walmart, Sam's Club,Home Depot).

Vacation Rental Amenities

Our newly built villa has 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, open concept  
kitchen/,dining/living room,as well as a TV room,front patio and  
thatched back patio. The master bedroom has a king bed, ensuite  
bathroom and thatched balcony overlooking the Gulf. The sound of the  
waves lapping on the shore provides restful tranquil sleep. The  
other bedroom has a queen and a double bed plus en-suite bathroom.  
Also supplied are washer & dryer, satellite TV, DVD, CD-player, hair  
dryer, fully-equipped kitchen, microwave, coffee-maker, tea kettle,  
blender, toaster, water-cooler, ceiling fans, towels and bed linens.  
NO SMOKING, no pets

Activities and Attractions

Fishing trips, site seeing excursions, Mayan ruins, cenotes, biking  
(4 bikes provided), kayaking (2 provided with life jackets),  
shelling, beach walks, bird watching, nature preserves, boat rides,  
quaint towns and haciendas. The greater Yucatan area has Mayan  
pyramids, beaches, colonial cities, caves and cenotes. Yucatan  
Today, an informative tourist guide, will be available at the villa  
to help you plan day trips.  For further information please call the  
owners. Property managers Penny & Mac will be available to answer  
questions re tour bookings or to employ a housekeeper or cook as you  
require. A caretaker is on site.

The closest international airport is in Merida, approximately 1 1/2  
hours away. Cheaper flights can be found in Cancun, where you can  
rent a car(cheaper online). Cancun is a 4-5 hour drive on excellent  
roads.
