Vacation Rental Description

Casa Mariposa, the butterfly house, is a luxurious 4 suite waterfront Villa.  Proudly nestled  
within Puerto Aventuras, a quaint exclusive community.  We are family owned/operated  
villa, that has been recently renovated and decorated with an eclectic mix of Indonesian  
furniture, 17th century antiques, custom furnishings in rattan and bamboo, lush gardens,  
fine linens and modern appliances in our immaculate kept home. 
 
Casa Mariposa has been rated one of the top five rental villas on the Mayan Riviera coast.   
This rank was based on location, interior design aspects, having both… a fresh water pool  
and a salt water lagoon/pool, service, money for the dollar and comfortability.   
Casa Mariposa overlooks the sparkling azure waters that offer a reef full of tropical fish.  
Dive, snorkel, or even cast a fishing rod within steps of the villa. Cool off and refresh in  
one of our pools (both fresh and salt). New to the villa: Jacuzzi coming in Spring. 
 
Three of the suites have balconies. The suite facing the garden has a perfect little  
balcony with a lovely seat for two in the lush greenery. We also have two indoor "sitting  
areas" that are attatched to the two 2nd floor suites. Large sofas and chairs face the ocean  
viewed through huge opening windows. This is a great spot for reading and meditation.

Casa Mariposa's owners have turned this villa into their own dream.  All of the amenities  
and detailed flairs are in a prestigous rank of there own that you will not find in any villa  
around.

Enormous televison in the family room with satellite, dvd and movie collection. 
Individual televisions and DVD players in every suite. 
Two steros (one portabel, one sound system). 
Wireless Internet. 
CD alarm clock players in every suite. 
Fully equiped state of the art kitchen...even a espresso machine. 
BBQ grill for that fresh fish you caught poolside. 
Water cooler always supplied with fresh spring h2o. 
Full size washer and dryer. 
 
Five Star mattresses in every suite. The finenest linens one could ask for: high thread  
count luxury sheets, numerous quality pillows, allergy-free down comforters, modern  
comforters, and also dust/allergy covers on all of the mattresses. (Let's just say... the  
owner is very finicky about her bedding.) 
 
Beach cruiser bikes for client use. 
 
Casa Mariposa is well known for their pools, having two. 
We have both fresh and saltwater pools to enjoy: 
The freshwater pool is a beautifully dark blue tiled pool. Our "Kid Friendly" swimming pool  
was designed for the ease of parents. Having two levels makes it perfect for the little ones  
to play safely.The shallow level is great for small children or lying down soaking up some  
rays.  we also have rafts! 
 
The saltwater pool is fed by the ocean and is a warm, relaxing little lagoon. Take  
your mask and look at all the little fish and shells within. 
 
The whole backside of the Villa is a deck/ patio. There's outside seating  
for 10. There are also 4 sunbathing lounge chairs that face the waters edge. 
 
Casa Mariposa is within 50 ft of the waters edge. Stairs lead down  
to the coral-rock beach. The nearest powdery sand beach is only 5 minutes away. 
 
Tidepools are filled with little fish and seacreatures that have  
made them their little home. Shells that have washed up and sunbathing iguanas reside  
here. Walk out into the ocean and you will find some fabulous snorkeling and diving. One  
of the best spots in Puerto is just a swim away from the shore. You will know where it is  
because often there are little boats anchored on the spot. Bring your fishing gear and  
wade out into the water. The water is the clearest blue and is so inviting. 
 
Casa Mariposa is equiped with one house line to be used for incoming calls and two cell  
phones given to the clients when they arrive. Cell phones require a card for time. Cards  
can be bought in the village 5 minutes away. Call Local and International. 
 
Casa Mariposa also has a maid, gardner and handyman that come daily,  
except Sunday.  
They will be happy to suit any of your special needs.

much to keep you busy.  We supply the following to add to the fun:  rafts,  
kids beach toys, kayak and bicycles for our renters available.  
 
We want to make sure you see all of the beauty the mystical Mayan Riviera has to offer.   
We will send you a list of all of our "hotspots" to be sure to take part in, including a list of  
all of the restaraunts we reccomend around the area.
