breathtaking views.

Boardroom/Media Room:

The Boardroom is located on the 2nd level in the West Wing. The room
can function as a mini cinema, a conference room and/or extra bedroom.
It has a full bath, built-in snack/coffee break station complete with
refrigerator, ice maker, microwave oven and coffee maker.

The room is equipped with a 52” Built-in television with DVD and VCR
and a full stereo system. There is a three-seat leather sleeper sofa
and 6 comfortable leather reclining chairs with built-in footrests
that can be arranged in a variety of configurations: conference style,
theatre style, or as a guest room using the sleeper sofa. The room can
hold up to 16 for a conference using additional chairs that can be
brought in when necessary. There is a modular style table that can be
combined to form a conference table, or separated and used as side
tables for the chairs and sofa.

For guest use, there is a Computer Station located in a cubby of the
Boardroom. The computer is a state-of-the art Gateway computer with a
Windows® XP Home Operating System and Microsoft® Office 2003 Small
Business Software. The station includes a 17” flat panel monitor, HP
Deskjet printer, and high-speed internet access.

The room is also equipped with an HP projector that can be used with
the guest computer (or your own laptop) to project the monitor’s
screen onto a screen that pulls down over the built-in big-screen
television. There is also a laser pointer for use with the screen. A
Polycom SoundStation® Conference Phone is available for full-duplex
(two-way) conference calls. A Dry-Erase Board or Easel Pads can also
be requested.

Business Services:

The office on the main level is open during business hours for
assistance with faxing and receiving faxes, making a small number of
photocopies, and other basic business assistance.


Catered Offerings:

A Catering Menu is available in the Chartreuse Binder in the Living
Room. The Catering menu offering is broad – from snack trays to large
formal dinners. It is recommended that catering be planned in advance
but some items, such as pitchers of Villa Peñasco margaritas, or chips
and guacamole can be requested at any time. Every attempt will be made
to accommodate any catering requests.


Climate Control / Ceiling Fans:

All sections of the house have the option of air conditioning should
it be desired. In addition, there are Casablanca ceiling fans in all
guest rooms and most areas throughout the house.


Coffee/Espresso Machine:

Villa Peñasco has the ultimate coffee lover’s dream – a Jura-Capresso
IMPRESSA S9 Automatic Coffee and Espresso Center. This machine takes
whole beans and converts them into the most delicious coffee you have
ever tasted outside of a café in Italy. The IMPRESSA S9 is one of the
highest rated automatic machines on the market, receiving outstanding
marks in both quality of brewed coffee and ease of use. The press of a
button produces the perfect cup of coffee, whether it is an espresso,
a cappuccino, a latte or even a café crème.

Dining Room: The dining room can seat up to 16 people. Two exquisite
square dining tables can be set separately or together as one large
table. A large, decorative mirror on one wall reflects the views of
Lands End and the Pacific Ocean. The dining room has magnificent views
and opens fully to the main terrace.

DVD Library: There is a Library of over 300 DVDs from which guests can
select movies for viewing. A list of the available DVDs is provided in
your Guest Information Book, and a multi-volume DVD Library Catalog
with full film descriptions is available in the Living Ro
