Colonia Santa Julia has a great mix of neighbors: Mexican, American, 
Canadian, European. Rent a home where the residents of San Miguel 
live! 
·Bus service into Centro (the Santa Julia bus) two blocks away (no 
bus fumes on our calle!). Easy walk from the house to Centro and 
back. Taxis are 20 pesos (about $2 U.S.) flat rate every daytime 
trip, $3 at night.

Rent for no more than 4 people (children count as people): $1,000/month (30 
nights); $300 refundable security deposit. Long-term rental (more than 4 
months) requires $500 refundable deposit.
Rent includes taxes but not household gas usage (approximately $15/wk, 
depending on how much hot 
water and gas oven is used).
Also, any electricity charges over 500 pesos a month will be charged to the 
renters.  Our personal 
usage (and we cook a LOT and do laundry here) is 500 pesos a month.
Payable by check or Paypal (fee may apply). If staying one week, gas cost is 
waived.  Standard 
vacation rental contract must be signed. 
This is not a slapdash rental house.  It is our home six months of each year 
and we like luxury! We 
are not looking to make money on renting our second home – we just want to 
cover our costs during 
the months we live in Austin, Texas.
