This Cute! little house sits on a corner lot only 330 feet from the beach and ocean in an excellent 
residential neighborhood.  It is also within walking distance (only 7 blocks) from downtown 
Chicxulub.  The town has 5000 inhabitants and is situated 6km from the beach town of Progresso.  
Chicxulub is home to many bars, restaurants, pharmacies, bakeries, supermarkets, internet cafes, and 
other services.  From December to March there are many Canadian families living in town.  Chicxulub 
is 50 minutes from downtown Merida by the new magnifies Highway.

The house has a terrace perfect for enjoying your morning coffee, reading a book in the afternoon, 
or drinking an ice cold beer in the evening.  There are hooks for up to three hammocks on the front 
deck.  The house has two bedrooms, each with a full sized bed, ceiling fans, and hooks for a 
hammock.  The windows have screens so you can take advantage of the ocean breeze.  There are two 
sets of sheets for each bed and two sets of towels (one large, one small) for each person that will 
stay at the house.  

There is a new bathroom with a shower that has hot and cold water.  The house has a large water tank 
(3000 litres) so there is always enough water.  The water is for bathing and washing clothes.  
Drinking water is inexpensive - about two dollars for a 20 liter bottle - and there is a water truck 
that passes the house daily so you don´t even have to carry it from downtown.  

The kitchen has all cooking and eating utensils.  It also has a gas stove (one full butane canister 
included), refrigerator, microwave, and toaster. There is a dining table and chairs as well. 

There is a carport for two cars.  There is also a small area to wash clothes by hand 
and a line to dry them on.
