THE CONDO(s): These two (2) condos can be rented individually or together, as there is a 
lockable door that connects the studio condo to the livingroom of the one bedroom condo. Rent them 
together or separately. Both condos have private, third floor balconies that face the Sea of Cortez 
and beach. Both have forced air conditioning, as well as ceiling fans in every room. 

THE AREA: The Costa Azul Beach is quiet, and is the longest sandy beach in all of Los Cabos. San 
Jose del Cabo is a slower paced historic Colonial Mexican town, well known for great shops and 
restaurants. If you want more action, Cabo San Lucas is only twenty minutes away. 

CLIMATE: Temperatures are generally in the mid 80s, but it gets cooler in mid winter and warmer in 
mid summer, and hot in August, September and October. 

THE BEACH AND POOL: Our beach and/or pool are never crowded. We provide beach towels and beach 
chairs for the beach. The pool off our balcony is actually the Playa del Sol Hotel pool. Our pool is 
to the left of this view in the photo, on the east side of our condo. About 75 feet further to the 
east from that pool is the second La Jolla pool, which is a little smaller than the main pool.

ACCOMMODATIONS: The one bedroom condo has a king size bed. The studio has a queen bed. Both condos 
have one single roll-away bed each, and both also have queen size fold out sofa each. Each condo 
accommodates up to four (4) people maximum, but are better suited for two or three people. By 
renting both condominiums you can accommodate up to eight (8) people maximum, as there are enough 
sleeping accommodations, though that would be crowded. The one bedroom condo is 850 square feet & 
the studio is 650 square feet. In Mexico, the square footage quoted always includes the area on the 
balconies.

Both of these condos have vaulted ceilings, completely stocked kitchens and are lacking nothing in 
appointments or amenities. The one bedroom condo has a full kitchen and is fully stocked, and the 
studio condo has a small but well designed little kitchen, with two burner stove, medium size 
refrigerator, sink, microwave, toaster oven, and is fully stocked.  Spacious Mexican tiled 
countertops in both units.  Full bathrooms with showers in both units.

Bottled water is provided in both condos, and the one bedroom condo has a water filter at the 
kitchen sink.  Both condos have (forced) air conditioning, gas barbeques, Satellite-TVs with HBO and 
ESPN, DVD players and a DVD library of our own, radio, CD players, refrigerators, stoves, 
microwaves, blenders, coffee makers, pots, pans, and all kitchenwares you will ever need.  Free high-
speed wireless internet can be found at the pool, which is provided by the La Jolla Condo Complex 
Home owner's association.  The same wireless internet signal can also be picked up from our one 
bedroom unit’s balcony/veranda, but the signal there is sometimes weak.

All pillows and mattress are of high quality, hypo allergetic, bed linens are premium 400-thread 
count and the towels are nice and plush.  There are many restaurant options near by. There is also a 
small grocery story close by, and a large grocery store one half mile away. This condominium complex 
is considered very quiet, has 24 hour security guards, and is located on the longest continuous 
stretch of walk-able beach in the entire area. Both condos share pretty much the same view of the 
ocean, overlooking the Playa del Sol Hotel pool between our condo and the beach.  Playa del Sol 
offers many amenities for a fee if you want to use them, including their restaurant, swim up bar and 
massage salon.  

There are two pools that belong to our condominium complex, the closest of which is right next to 
our building.  That pool is heated during cooler months, and is well furnished with new (2008)
quality pool furniture.  Pool hours are from 8am to 10pm daily.  

The beach is only a few steps from the condos. The complex grounds are beautifully manicured and 
landscaped, probably the best taken care of in the area with a full time gardening staff.

Local bus transportation stops right out front of the complex on the main highway, and there is a 
Taxi stand in front of the Playa del Sol Hotel next door.

Horseback Riding is available on the beach. The stables are in the arroyo about two or three 
hundred yards east of the condo.  There is also a well known and fun zip line business in that 
canyon that might be a thrill for someone in your group.

The Beach is a great place to watch the sun come up and/or go down. You will see fish jumping, and 
you may see whales swim by.  Swimming in the ocean can be safe some weeks, and not during others.  
It is very changable.  When it's good, it's great, and when it's not, there are other beaches nearby 
that are always calm, such as the Palmilla Beach, or you can just swim in the pool.  The beach is 
all sand, no rocks, and the water warmer in summer than in winter.  Sometimes it can be rough, at 
other times it is as calm as an inland lake.

There are many great restaurants in the area, several within walking distance of the 
condo, including the hotel's restaurant next door, and dozens nearby in the town of San Jose.  We 
will be happy to give you all of this information when you contact us.  We do have many favorite 
restaurants in the area.

ACTIVITIES: ATV rentals in the desert or on the beach, Kayaking and Bird Watching in nearby San Jose 
Estuary, or Sea of Cortez. Kite Sailing, Windsurfing, Jet Skis, and Wave Runners are available 
nearby. There is Whale Watching from the deck, beach, or charter a boat in season. Surfing and 
surfboard rentals are available at the famous "Zippers" surf area on our beach, about 
three hundred yards west of our condo, within walking distance.  They offer lessons, as does the  
Cabo Surf Hotel about a half mile further west. This beach is called Costa Azul, and is well known 
for quality surf.  The surf in front of the condo is not good for surfing.  There are many world 
famous Golf courses in the Cabo area, and there is a small nine hole course nearby.  Shopping 
options are abundant in the town of San Jose.
   
Deep Sea Fishing is world class.  Though the Cabo area is the Striped Marlin Capital of the World, 
you will also catch many other fish that offer great dining right in the condo, or at any one of the 
many restaurants, all of which will cook your catch for you in a variety of unique ways.  Fishing

Snorkeling: There are several wonderful snorkeling options in the area. We'll give you all the 
information upon request. Great swimming pool, heated in winter.  Quad Rentals nearby.  Zip line 
concession in an arroyo (canyon) within walking distance.  There are often Mariachi and various 
locals concerts in the Plaza in downtown San Jose at night.  Swim with dolphins in Cabo San Lucas.   
Enjoy sunset and dinner cruises from Cabo San Lucas.  Visit the new Puerto Los Cabos Marina on the 
other side of the San Jose del Cabo Estuary.  Leave the sliding doors open at night and listen to 
surf.  You'll want to have your morning coffee on the veranda or on the beach.  IMany restaurants 
have mariachi music wandering through.

Or, drive up to Todos Santos on the west coast, about an hour north of Cabo San Lucas, or head up 
the east cape to those beautiful destinations, one of which is my personal favorite, Cabo Pulmo, the 
northern most living coral reef in North America, and an underwater national park, where there is 
wonderful snorkeling.  Walk the many trails through the San Jose del Cabo estuary where you will see 
a large variety of birds.  Visit the local Cactus Botanical Garden where you will see over 100 
varieties of Cactus.  Scuba Diving rentals and lessons are available around the area.  Visit the 
Art District of San Jose, and see many galleries & boutiques. 

LaJolla Resort is adjacent to Playa del Sol where you will find a quality restaurant and swim up 
bar.  Right across the street and down about two hundred yards is Havana's restaurant and bar, 
famous in the area for Jazz.  Local Bus transportation stops right out front.  Taxi service is 
available in front of Playa del Sol, right next door.  There is an organic restaurant right next to 
the complex by the name of Mi Ensalada, and Sardinia Cantina bar/restaurant is a few doors down, 
newly reopened.  A small but convenient little grocery store is a few doors further down, only about 
a hundred yards from our complex & will take care of any small needs you have like coffee, eggs, or 
beer.

THE ONE BEDROOM CONDO:

$800 per week, or $125 per night, with a three (3) night minimum.  

Holiday weeks add $200: New Years, Martin Luther King, Presidents Day,  Memorial Day, Fourth of 
July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas.

$650 per week, or $98 per night, with a three (3) night minimum.

DISCOUNT OPTIONS:  

1. A 15% discount is offered when both condos are rented together, in lieu of other discounts.  

2. A 15% discount is offered with multiple week rentals, in lieu of other discounts.  

3. A 20% discount is offered when both condos are rented for multiple weeks, in lieu of other 
discounts.  

4. Anyone having previously rented with us qualifies for an additional 5% on subsequent visits, in 
addition to other discounts that you qualify for.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

We will refund your payment in full as long as the request does not come less than one month prior 
to a reservation date.  After that time, we will only refund 50% of the amount of the rental.  A 
late cancellation inhibits our ability to find another renter.

Occasional maid service is available with prior arrangement for an additional fee that can be quoted 
based upon your particular needs.  If interested, let us know and we'll discuss your needs with our
