Castillo de Arena translates to 'Sandcastle' in English.  You will 
feel as though you're in a castle on the sand as you enjoy the 
incredible view! This  luxurious custom villa sits perched on a 
hillside and consists of a main house and a casita (guest house).  
The main house has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and sleeps 8.  The casita has 
1 bedroom, 1 bath and sleeps 4.  You can rent them individually or 
both houses together.  While staying here, you will be just steps 
from the quiet pristine beach, the beachfront community pool and 
tennis court. 

The main house has an octagonal great room, featuring a dramatic 20 
foot, brick domed ceiling, fireplace (man made logs only) , fully 
equipped kitchen, dining table for 6, satellite TV, custom tile and 
cabinet work throughout.  You will be able to prepare meals on the 
built-in, outdoor gas BBQ where you can take in the beautiful view 
of the Sea of Cortez while your food cooks!  The master suite has a 
king bed, fireplace and a large bath with a sunken shower.  The 
second bedroom also has a king bed and a private bath in the 
bedroom.  In the third bedroom you’ll also find a king size bed.  In 
addition, this room has been expanded to include a bunk room, with 2 
singles. The bath for the 3rd bedroom is located in the hall, just 
outside the bedroom.  The ‘bunk room’ also features a TV with VCR, 
making it a great place for kids to gather and watch their videos.  

It may be called the 'guest house', but don't let that fool you.  In 
this private hide-a-way you will enjoy all the amenities you would 
expect in a luxury home. It has an octagonal great room, featuring a 
dramatic 20 foot, brick domed ceiling, fireplace, fully equipped 
kitchen, dining table for 4, satellite TV with VCR, custom tile and 
cabinet work throughout, and access to the gas BBQ.  It has one 
bedroom with a king-size bed.  The queen sofa sleeper in the great 
room has an innerspring mattress and is quite comfortable.  The 
layout provides doors between the bedroom, bath and great room.  
This assures maximum privacy for everyone.

You’ll enjoy sweeping views of the Sea of Cortez, both from the main 
house and guest house!  It also has 2 sundecks where you can enjoy 
the spectacular sunsets (and sunrises!).  You will be able to park 
your car in our private off-street parking.

You will find Playa La Jolla only 4 hours from either Phoenix or

The pristine, white sand beaches are a perfect place to take in the 
sun, go for a walk, collect shells or just enjoy the serenity.  It's 
gradual slope makes it very 'child friendly'.  It is not uncommon to 
find yourself alone on this beautiful beach.  A perfect place for 
the perfect family vacation!

It is only about a 12 mile drive from Playa La Jolla to Rocky 
Point.  This area is known for it's beautiful white sand beaches, 
friendly people, fresh fish, shops and many restaurants.  Even 
though this area is rapidly becoming a favorite vacation location it 
retains it's quaint Mexican ambiance.  You can stroll down the 
Malecon (Old Port area) and buy fresh fish from the local fishermen, 
browse through the many shops and barter with the beach vendors.  

If you are looking for sporting activities, you'll find many things 
from  which to choose.  You might try a boat ride to bird island 
where you can swim, snorkel, dive or just enjoy the birds and seals 
that inhabit the area.  In the surrounding waters you can delight at 
the sight of dolphins who will often swim along with the boats. 
Don't forget the golf clubs! 

If fishing is more your style, why not charter a local boat for some 
deep sea fishing.  Still not what you're looking for?  How about 
renting an ATV, para sailing, or rides on a banana boat.  After that 
you might want a massage at a local salon, or just enjoy the sun, 
sand and people watching.  

When you have worked up an appetite for some of the local fare, 
you'll find many traditional Mexican taco stands as well as an 
abundance of restaurants. If you can't tear yourself away from the 
water, you can indulge yourself in a romantic dinner cruise. You'll 
find it hard to decide where to eat!  

Take a cruise and enjoy one of  beautiful sunsets for which this 
area is known.  Then you can stay in town and enjoy the nightclub 
activity or return to Playa La Jolla for some serious star gazing or 
a moonlight stroll on the beach!

Payment schedule  - Unit will be blocked off of the calendar upon
