is a popular surf spot located right in front of a housing development, also called Baja Malibu, just 15-20 minutes from the U.S. border. Baja Malibu is approximately five minutes from Rosarito Beach and about 6 minutes from Tijuana. Activities in the area, besides surfing, include swimming, horseback riding on the beach, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, golf and exploring the nearby historical sites. The nearby town of Rosarito is full of activities for the whole family, and has plenty of shops and restaurants that offer international cuisine, as well as inexpensive eateries that offer famous fish tacos and other authentic Mexican dishes. Other nearby attractions include the world famous Puerto Nuevo, Fox Studios (the site of the filming of the movie, Titanic,) Lobster Village and more. Of course, for shopping, you will want to visit Tijuana’s famous “Avenida Revolucion,” a high-energy strip of town that is lined with a variety of shops that offer everything from cheap souvenirs to fine Austrian crystal. The town’s nightlife is also infamous, although Rosarito also has quite an active nightlife, especially during spring break.
