Los Cabos is one of Mexico’s most popular destinations, located at the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula. The land here ends in a rocky point called “The Arch,” where the warm waters of the Sea of Cortez swirl into the Pacific Ocean’s rugged surf. Connected by a twenty-mile stretch of highway called The Corridor, the two towns of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo are the main communities of Los Cabos. San Jose del Cabo remains the quieter of the two towns – the one to come to for a peaceful escape. However, if you’re in search of exciting nightlife – no place beats Cabo San Lucas. The Corridor, which has become a vacation destination unto itself, has lodges and exclusive resorts located along wild cliffs. Most of the activity here is centered on two areas – Cabo Real and Cabo del Sol. Wherever you choose to stay in Los Cabos, you are sure to have an exciting, fun-filled time in one of the most beautiful areas of the world.

Los Cabos Weather & Climate

The stretch of land immediate south of California between the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of California is Baja California, Mexico ("Baja" means "Lower.") The weather here can be divided into two distinct categories: hot deserts and cooler near the oceans. Arid or semiarid conditions are present on the Baja Peninsula and rainy days are rare outside of the 'rainy season' September through December, which is why many golfers come here to play. Storms that do occur in summertime are short, but most of them pass by to the south. Summers are quite warm with very little humidity; winters have near perfect weather. June through September is hurricane season, but hurricanes on the Pacific are much less likely than storms on the Gulf of Mexico.
