Valle de Bravo Vacation Rentals, Condos, Villas and Beach Rentals

Valle de Bravo is a hilly town that rises from the shores of Lake Avandaro and is surrounded by pines and mountains. Located approximately 47 miles west of Mexico City center, everything about this picturesque town seems perfect. From the mountain views, to the cobblestone streets and luscious fruits sold in the town market, Valle de Bravo is a place to savor. Wealthy Mexicans keep vacation homes in Valle, and although new businesses have made the town prosperous, it has maintained its cozy, traditional feel. This is a town most people would not expect to see in Mexico – it is more reminiscent of Switzerland, with its white stucco houses, wrought-iron balconies, red-tile roofs and flowers spilling from doorways. Some of the activities in Valle de Bravo include swimming in the lake, boating, waterskiing, hang gliding, or visiting the town’s Sunday market. One of the town’s main attractions is the migration of Monarch butterflies November through March – where you can hike through the butterfly sanctuaries. Valle de Bravo has fresh, clean air, a sparkling lake and a lot of class – and if you spend time here, you will see why many call it Mexico’s “best kept secret.”
